You don’t need to worry about the hassle of dropping your car off at our Everton Hills or Slacks Creek workshops. Instead, we come to your home or business and do the installation there. Booking Your Mobile Installation

If you’re happy with the quote, a team member will coordinate a location and time for one of our technicians to meet you and perform the towbar installation. We’ll be there at the specified time, and if we’re running late we will give you plenty of forewarning.
What Do I Need to Do On The Day?
On the day, you’ll need to be home or have an adult representative present. Our technician will confirm with them the best fitting location for the vehicle. It’s also handy to have somebody there to make sure everything is done to your satisfaction. Our technician can also answer any questions you have.
Before they arrive, here are a few things to have sorted:
- Vehicle parked safely, away from traffic, with room to open all doors
- Boot cleared out and free of valuables
- Car keys ready and accessible
- Cover available if there’s a chance of rain.
If it’s a wet day, we can’t work in the rain. If there isn’t any covered space to work in we may need to reschedule to clearer weather.
What Happens During the Installation?
Fully Kitted Vans
Our vans are fully equipped with everything needed to perform your towbar installation. There’s a wide range of towbar stock on board, including the highly-recommended TowRite brand. Cordless Tools
Our installer will use cordless tools, so there’s no need to organise a power source or clear a space around a garage outlet. They will need a safe, reasonably flat area away from traffic. A home driveway works perfectly, as does a carport, garage, or parking spots at your workplace where the van can be close by.
Lifetime Warranty
All installations are completed to Australian Design Rule 62 (ADR62) and backed by our lifetime warranty on both the towbar and wiring. It’s the same quality installation you’d get in our workshop.
What About Payments?
The vans carry mobile EFTPOS, so you can pay by card on the day. Visa, Mastercard, and Amex are all accepted. If you’d prefer to spread the cost, we also accept ZipMoney and Afterpay. We want to make this as straightforward as possible for you.
Who is mobile installation best suited to?
Honestly, it suits a wider range of people than you might expect. The most common fit is someone who’s time-poor. You’ve got work commitments, kids to manage, or simply no easy way to get your car to a workshop and back without it eating half your day.
It also makes a lot of sense if you live further out in SEQ. Our mobile service covers a wide area across South East Queensland, so if Everton Hills or Slacks Creek isn’t convenient, there’s a good chance we can get a technician out to you anyway.
