Controller
Its

Since
the Hayman Reese Brake Controller has no moving parts
or pendulums to adjust, it can be mounted in virtually any position. Its slim
design and contoured shape are combined to provide more under dash clearance
than any brake control on the market today.
Complete
with Sync-Control the driver can control the rate of brake application from
soft to aggressive by simply moving this control forward or backward. Trailer
brakes may also be manually applied by squeezing the Brake Controller's manual
control, located on the front of the unit. This also activates the trailer and
tow vehicle's stop lights when brakes are applied. A perfect way to help trim
trailer sway.

HAYMAN REESE GUARDIAN Brake
Controller
The
Guardian is the new generation in brake controller units. Proportional braking
is prompted with detection of the vehicle’s rate of deceleration. Translating
into faster and smoother stopping, with less wear and tear on both the vehicle
and trailer brakes. No level adjustment is required. This unit has a digital display
which depicts voltage delivery to the trailer during braking, as well as a
diagnostic check to ensure a proper connection. Innovative dash mounting clips
allow for flexible mounting, as well as a disconnect feature, which allows you
to remove and store the control when not in use.
TEKONSHA PRODIGY Brake Controller
Delivers
proportional braking in relation to your vehicles rate of deceleration. No
level adjustment necessary. The only inertia control that works proportionally
in reverse. Rotary manual adjustment lever. Digital display depicts voltage
delivery to trailer. Exclusive ‘Boost’ feature allows user to apply more
braking power when towing heavier trailers. Comes with unique pocket mount and
easily disconnects to remove when not in use.
TEKONSHA ’VOYAGER’ Brake Controller
This easy
to install electronic brake controller features advanced electronics that
minimize false braking to give a smoother ride even on the roughest roads.

Adaptor
Bars
Adaptor Bars or Top Bars are used to adapt all bike
frames to a Bike Carrier. One end of the bar attaches to the seat post of the
bike, and extends across to the handlebar headset, creating a level bar to fit a
bike carrier. Used in situations where the frame of the bike is an
unusual/awkward shape preventing it from sitting level or even fitting on the
bike carrier; or if the bike frame is too thick to fit into the bike carrier.

Pin Plug
A 12 pin plug is basically a 7 pin flat
plug with an
Anderson
plug in one unit. Used mainly on new caravans.
Hot
Wire
A hot wire is a 4mm cable run with an
inline fuse to the auxiliary point in the seven pin plug. Mainly used to run
lights and a fridge.

Anderson
plugs are a twin 6mm wire with an inline fuse run straight from the
positive and negative of the battery to the rear on the vehicle.
Anderson
plugs are used mainly on caravans with deep cell batteries.

Dual
trailer locks - The Couple-mate Premium Dual Trailer
Safety Lock secures your trailer when it is not in use it also secures your
trailer to your tow ball. This lock clamps the entire trailer coupling making it
impossible to remove the nut under the tow bar. Great for trailers, boats and
Jet Ski's that are left at the boat ramp. When in storage use the safety chain
to loop through the lock and use a padlock to lock up the entire assembly. Approved by all Insurance Companies.
If you have
a receiver on your car or 4WD please look at the hitch pin locks in conjunction
with this product. It is possible to remove pins rendering this type of lock
ineffective

550, 750 and 1000 lbs hitch weights. Each model features are, easy to adjust,
snap on brackets with snap over centre action, safety lock pins and adjustable

What does a Weight Distribution Hitch do?
Distributes
tow ball weight to all wheels.

A Hayman Reese Weight Distributing Hitch will ensure the
safety of your towing system.
Without a
Weight Distributing Hitch, the trailer’s tongue weight is transferred to the
rear of the tow vehicle which puts a heavy strain on the rear tyres,
springs and frame. This can unload the front wheels to the point the steering
becomes “light” and control is greatly reduced.
But a Hayman Reese Weight Distributing Hitch is carefully
engineered to distribute heavy weight equally to each wheel of the tow vehicle
and to the wheels of the trailer or caravan. This greatly reduces strain at the
rear of the tow vehicle, levels out the ride and improves braking and steering
control.

Control and Dual Cam Sway Control products are available to complement your
weight distribution system.
Sway
Control Bars
There are two different sway control bar
options…
Friction and dual cam control.
Friction
Sway Control
The all new Sway Control is designed to
minimize movement between the vehicle and the trailer. It counteracts trailer
movement through a unique friction action and is easily adjusted to compensate
for varying trailer weights and towing conditions. Adjustment is simple, Just
two turns of the handle takes you from zero to maximum control. The friction
action against the moveable bar restricts sway. With the removal of 2 “R”
clips, the sway control can be quickly removed and stored until you are ready
to travel again.
The friction sway control can be used
exclusively or in tandem with the dual cam for maximum trailer control.
Dual
Cam Control
Hayman Reese exclusive, patented Dual Cam Sway Control has been road tested
over all types of terrain.
The result of an exacting development
program, the Dual Cam helps keep the towing vehicle and trailer in a straight
line on the highway or under control when sway occurs due to passing trucks,
crosswinds or when a wheel runs off the bitumen.
The Dual Cam is designed to operate for
rigs with a ball weight in excess of 159kg (350lbs). It works in conjunction
with trailer A frame and spring bars of the weight distribution hitch to give
the driver a full automatic self adjusting sway control. When you hook up the
spring bars, the dual cam is hooked up automatically at the same time.
It is easy to install and attaches without
welding or drilling. Hook-up and unhooking is simple and operator adjustment is
unnecessary as an increase in hitch weight results in an automatic increase in
pressure on the spring bars.
While driving, the Reese Dual Cam’s
self-centring action means the cams and cam arms realign and lock into position
after each turn.
Towing with the dual cam on a properly
adjusted Reese weight distribution hitch, provides noticeable improvements in
driver comfort and road handling. You won’t experience as much fatigue behind
the wheel and the self centring action makes it feel as if your tow vehicle and
trailer are leaning into each bend.
